Axis has purchased the latest Mintel report on consumer attitudes towards luxury holidays.

Amongst many interesting insights, there's a real trend developing at the top end of the travel market for people seeking 'a unique experience' - to go to undiscovered places, off the beaten track. Interestingly, even in the current economic climate, a third of consumers still intend to take a 'luxury' break in the coming year (luxury defined as ?2,500 plus).
